हम हिंदुस्तानियों में यह ख़ासियत है कि फटाफट किसी के भी फ़ैन बन जाते हैं और फिर
किसी दिन उसे उस गद्दी से उतार कर फैंक भी उसी आसानी से देते हैं. यही सोच कर मैने उन्हे इस गद्दी से नहीं उतारा जिस दिन वो
पहली बार अन्ना हज़ारे के आंदोलन के खिलाफ बोले थे....

This is a scam worth multi crores and the MCD has to act immediately if the
authorities already know about it and trust me, they ought to know.
Do not be surprized if your house tax in Delhi is increased further. Do not be surprized
if the rates become astronomical too because the MCD has grown poor. Recently they have increased
the circle rates further making your dream house beyond your reach. So why does MCD has
to squeeze your innocent pocket? Simply because the clever are squeezing the MCD
resources. 
Incidently, it was newsjyoti's first success story and the Indian company Voltas
had laid its hands off this illegal advertisement hoarding business when the Newsjyoti story
titled 'Can India ka dil be so corrupt' was brought to its

But recently another one, Daikin, this time from Japan has joined the loot
of our city's resources .... why was it able to do...why was the effect of Newsjyoti's
first success story in controlling the corruption

Exactly a year after I wrote the first article, much before the official launch of
Newsjyoti, I have to write this article painfully as what fears and apprehensions
I had shown in that articles have come out to be true word by word.

Everytime a new stretch of Delhi Metro is
started and the crowd is expected to cross limits, instead of increasing the coaches of the
trains, this is promised for the 'next month' and the next month never comes. Just as
tomorrow never comes for the shopkeepers who write in bold leters, "aaj nakad kal udhaar!"
For the first few days or every stretch, the doors refuse to close. The crowd is
tremendous. After that
a few people become disillusioned and leave the metro for their own vehicles and the metro
though in much more awkward position than the previous extension, continues to run
'happily ever after' with the same 4 bogies and soaring profits.
