Second gate refused to be opened; people 'swim' their way across
The first 'good' rain of the season in Delhi on July 12th
exposed the world class design of Delhi Metro Stations. This is the main entrance of
Pragati Maidan Metro station filled with water.
Look at the knee deep water
people had to go through to enter the Metro station. All of them including the women,
the children and the old or the sick.

NDMC selling capris?!
The h'ble High court had issued directions to the
NDMC to remove all encroachments
and
footpath vendors from Connaught Place, New Delhi before
June 1st, 2009. Those were removed

एक दिन हमने सोचा चलो लोगों को चूना लगाते हैं. उनसे पैसे ले कर उनको उनके नाम का मतलब बताते हैं. इस काम के लिए हमने 2 पंडितों को चुना और hire कर लिया.
जब हम लाखों रुपये उनके account में transfer कर चुके थे तो पता चला की वो तो 'नामकरण संस्कार' के नहीं, 'अंतिम संस्कार' के पंडित थे!
जब हमने उनसे पैसे वापिस माँगे तो पता चला ....

Delhi Metro train?
Forget it, when was the last time you could even stand straight in a Metro train with both of your feet comfortably
on ground during peak hours?
This is the result of the ever increasing population and nobody can do nothing about
it, this is what you might be thinking at the moment. Right you are, they can't
decrease the population, but what stops them from increasing the capacity of these trains?

My heart was crying (sincerely) on last friday night after hearing that a
promising young graduate girl
Mehzabeen 22 from Dehradun lost both her
legs after she fell on Metro tracks on a crowded
Rajiv Chowk Metro
station.
My heart was unconsolably disturbed right upto the following sunday.
(Why only sunday?).
